Why dont the values of team academy catch up with the exchange of Basque students?
We had the morning on Wednesday 16.11 for the leading thoughts of team academy. We started to go through the learning coffees and at the second stop we had the question “how can we improve the leading theme of year 2012” which is internationalism. After a little discussion we started to get to the heart of the problem of the exchance. Maybe the prime goals don’t catch up with the execute here.
We are told that the goals of Basques to come here is to learn the values and working ways of team academy. After a little discussion we found out that Basques are pressured to collect money and collect a lot of book points. This pressure really breaks the main values of team academy. Basques are forced to earn money with the cheapest ways possible. For example Basques come up with taking all the already made ideas and making omelets and such in the hope of fast money to cover their costs. Basques don’t have time to interact or really take part of our learning ways since all they can focus is the money. Forcing to the money really forces them to treat other people on academy as customers which again ruins the idea of meeting and doing things together and making you network bigger. Also if your force for these money projects you PROPABLY don’t learn a thing from making omelets which again fights against academys leading thoughts.
Why haven’t the coaches OR other teams planned Basques time here better? Make Basques time here more valuable for the teams in Finland and also for the Basques. Maybe just place 2-4 Basques on every team so they can see, interact and learn with the Finnish teams that have easier platform to start their business. At meanwhile they would also be able to produce better projects with their trusted Finnish teammate friends to earn some money.
Hey academy! React… it doesn’t take much for us to include 2-4 Basques for our everyday life here. If we give something to them we might even get a lot of ideas and visions back.

Jebadii jäädyin iha täysi siel johtavissa ajatuksissa kun käytii johtavia ajatuksia läpi ja kun siellä ilmeni vaa kuinka perseestä noide vaihto täällä on. Mielessä pyöri vaan se kuinka baskit vaa leipoo täällä pullaa et ne saa rahat kasaa sen sijaa että ne vois oikeesti oppia jotain tai tiimiakatemiasta tai tehdä kontakteja.
Ihan mahoton tilannehan tuo on oikeesti tehä jotai bisnestä kun ei tiedä kieltä, ei tunne ketään ja ei omaa oikeestaa hyvää tuotetakkaan.
Kävi iha myötähäpee kun baskit oli porukalla lauanataina kompassilla lautaset kädessä kerjäämässä “osta tästä jälkkäritorttu”… Iha naurettavaa.
Tosi mielenkiintosta lukee naita reflektioita baskeista kasin.Ja ennen kaikkea kiitos rehellisesta mielipiteesta.
Itse kommentoisin tahan etta joskus taytyy matkustaa kauas nahdakseen lahelle. Kysyisin myos kirjoittajalta onko han itse joskus yrittanyt tehda bisnesta vieraassa maassa vieraalla kielella 17-vuotiaana. Voin sanoa kolmen vuoden kokemuksen pohjalta etta tallainen kokemus kasvattaa kummasti, vaikutti se kaupittelu kuinka saalittavalta tahansa.
Taysin samaa mielta olen kylla siita, etta vaihtokuvioista pitaisi loytaa molemminpuolinen hyoty, hyvia ideoita siis otetaan vastaan
Pakko myöntää että en ole omaa bisnestä tehnyt. Tosin olen ollut töissä verovirastossa sloveniassa 18 vuotiaana harjoittelemassa ja muutenkin työskennellyt jopa austraaliassa asti. Joten en voi kieltää etteikö ulkomailla työskentely olisi aina avartavaa.
Ideahan koko tälle kirjoitukselle oli siis se että jotain on vialla ja toivottavasti jotain voitaisiin muuttaa.
