Who moved my cheese is a great and a instructive story about change. It tells how some of us are very happy about changes and get adapted to them, and the others who might be afraid of changes and don’t want them happen. I’ve always thought that I like changes and I’m ready for them but that’s not true. Many chances have passed by because I was blind to see them as a good opportunity. I thought that the old way was better even I haven’t tried other ways.

People spend time every day for getting what they want, reaching their goals or something that makes them happy. This every day challenge becomes a routine which you repeat almost every day. You get familiar with your working ways and mindset so you get blind to see any other ways to do things. Some people are afraid of trying new, unknown methods and things.

THE MORE IMPORTANT THE CHEESE IS TO YOU, THE MORE YOU WANT TO HOLD ON TO IT

In the book are those who take changes well and see them as an opportunity to try or found something new. And those how are waiting things to get back how they used to be and don’t want to adapt changes. The first group notice changes and get to prepare to them. When it’s time for change, it is totally okay for them and they go with it. They didn’t overanalyze things, problem and answer were simple.
And the others who have gotten so familiar with routines that they don’t notice the change is coming. These people have a habit to worry about the problem instead of solving it. They see change as impossibility and believe that the old ways still works, even the change has happened and it’s time for new.

THE QUICKER YOU LET GO OF OLD CHEESE, THE SOONER YOU FIND THE NEW CHEESE

Are you afraid of changes? No one can do the change for you, you have to do it yourself. You have to be more open and willing to see changes and when they come, don’t hold on to old, let the new come! Take changes as a challenge and you may realize that the change is only good. Nothing will change until you change.

MOVEMENT IN A NEW DIRECTION HELPS YOU TO FIND NEW CHEESE

I have ever tried an audiobook and I thought it wouldn’t work for me. At first it seemed like listening comprehension exercises which students do at high school and I was afraid of it. But I gave this a chance and I don’t regret it. So the change wasn’t bad at all, I found a new, different way to learn about the books and write an essay. My English might be a little worse, please forgive me. I wanted to see can I handle this and I think I did it quite well. So in the future I will be more open for new and see changes good instead of bad.
